Scrappy Stars and Friends Quilt

This quilt top is a WIP - Work In Progress -
Most of the blocks are Friendship Blocks, given to me by club member friends when I left the Central Highlands. 1992.
Some of the blocks are embroidered with the maker's name.
I'll add a pieced border with some matching scrap fabrics.
These things take a long time you know!

Santa Dress

I designed this dress which I had made in Penang.  As well as this black belt with the silver buckle I have extra belts to match - a plain red one and a black satin one with a gold buckle.
I hope I can fit into it this Christmas !   2008.

KEEP CALM Apron

I found this new tea-towel at an op shop and decided it would be perfect to make into an apron.
I cut the corners off the tea-towel and joined those 2 triangles together to make into the pocket.  2010.

Hexagon Table Runner

K gave me these hexagons that came from a garage sale.
Some of them were already sewn together and I decided to make a quilted table runner in this odd shape.
The hexagons are hand-sewn, the backing hand-sewn on, and the runner is quilted by machine.
I gave it to Rok for her birthday this year, 2010, it really suits her depression-era G-Grandad's hand-made table.
